Thanos#

Thanos is the long term storage solution for Prometheus. Data are stored in a S3 bucket.

Deployment#

Deploy the helm chart caascad-thanos with Trackbone.

Note : the Thanos sidecar is deployed with Prometheus.

This pod can be restarted at any time.

Impact : no metrics from long term storage are available during the reboot. No data loss.
